Our History

Keep Magnolia Beautiful (KMB) was established in 2015 as the result of a grass roots, all volunteer effort.  After tremendous support and successful projects in the greater Magnolia area over the past twelve years through the work of Keep Montgomery County Beautiful, it was decided the time had come for Magnolia to have its own organization.

After a meeting with Magnolia area Girl Scouts in Spring 2015, the two groups decided to partner to beautify the Magnolia library through an ambitious landscaping project.   Montgomery County Precinct 2 joined as a significant partner and this became the launch project for KMB.

KMB is an affiliate of Keep Texas Beautiful.  In 2016 KMB sought 501(c)3 non-profit status and the Board of Directors was selected and began work.
